First Prize at the 2013 Hornsby Heritage Awards

A garden pavilion completed in 2012 has just been awarded first prize in this year’s Hornsby Heritage Awards.

It came first in Category B, which is for designs in heritage areas which are commended by the Hornsby Shire Council for their sensitivity. The pavilion was awarded for being ‘sympathetic’ to its conservation-listed surroundings in Beecroft, north of Sydney.

It is only one part of an ongoing project for a villa built in 1907.
