64 Rosebery Road
HAA were engaged by Ku-Ring-Gai Council to assess the heritage significance of 64 Rosebery Road to determine if it should be listed.
64 Rosebery Road is an English domestic style house that possesses a high degree of integrity with notable intact elements. The 1930s servants’ quarters indicates that the notions of a ‘North shore house’ persisted over years of change and the aesthetic significance of the house is attributed to its architectural ambition and successful resolution in blending modern planning with English domestic elements.
The property was recommended for listing on the Ku-Ring-Gai LEP for what was found to be a good example of a ‘North Shore House’. It has since been listed.
