HAA is highly respected for our work with the owners of Class 2 commercial and residential Strata Plans. Our specialist skill and technical knowledge provide insightful advice on a range of issues for heritage buildings. Recent jobs include the successful resolution of leaking roofs in an early factory conversion to residences, the repair of a faulty brick façade in a residential building, a large lintel replacement project, and a set of guidelines for the management of change to all exterior elements and gardens within a Community Title Plan. We also provide maintenance and strategic services plans for buildings.
Another aspect of our strata work is to liaise closely with Owners of Strata Plans of listed older buildings in the Sydney CBD, to access the Heritage Floor Space Creation program established by the City of Sydney. This program allows a Strata to sell “heritage” floor space, the revenue for which is then required to be used for the repair and maintenance of the building.
